Prerequisite: BIO 330
An introduction to acute, subchronic, and chronic toxicity studies including
assessment of carcinogenic and reproductive/teratogenic effects of chemicals.
Emphasis is placed on designing and conducting these studies to meet
governmental regulations. Special topics covered include pathology, analytical
toxicology, toxicokinetics, and risk assessment. Offered each fall.
